In this performance, I will eat four kilograms of ash.
I will take as long as I need in order to do so.
Time is not set, only the weight.
The ash will be consumed, pass through me.
It will collect in the folds of my throat, the crevices of my stomach, the recesses of my warm pulsing intestines', and come to rest inside of my body. urn 1-6 (2023) : clay, ash glaze by Tobias Allen and dayle palfreyWhere an open eye, cloaked in the shadow of a dead flower (2019-2023) - Cedar and steel bench, beeswax, lavender ash by Dayle Palfreymann.

Each of these Vessels/Urns were made by myself and Dayle Palfreymann with guidance from Sheryl Walker.
MADE For the performance ‘Ashes and Action’ at Enjoy Gallery as a part of ‘To The Friend Who Did Not Save my Life’.
Each Vessel/Urn was cradled in my arms and contained the ash consumed during the 7 hour performance.
